Pyrope Garnet is a species of an aluminum silicate, where magnesium is present.
Along with Almandine, it is red to purplish-pink and purple colored.
Red Pyrope is colored partly by chromium (an element that produces bright greens and reds). Pyrope is almost always red and often resembles rubies.
