Strength
Agate is a banded variety of chalcedony primarily formed within volcanic and metamorphic rocks. Agate is colored by the concentration of iron and amount of oxidation within the crystal. Plume Agate has inclusions produced by iron oxide, manganese oxide, or other oxides that are present during the rock formation process. It comes in a variety of colors, including white, pink, orange, yellow, and brown.
Manganese is typically the inclusion if the pattern is black. If it is green, it could be caused by manganese or iron.
