Jasper is an aggregate of micro granular quartz and/or chalcedony. An opaque rock of any color stemming from the mineral content of the original sediments or ash.
Orbicular Jasper contains circular or orb-like inclusions of Quartz and Feldspar. It is actually a highly silicified rhyolite or tuff (a type of rock made of volcanic ash), quartz and feldspar.
Sub-varieties of Orbicular Jasper are Ocean Jasper, Leopard Skin Jasper, Kambaba Jasper.
