Fluorite is the mineral form of calcium fluoride.
Pure fluorite is colorless and transparent, both in visible and ultraviolet light. Impurities usually make it a colorful mineral. Many samples of fluorite exhibit fluorescence under UV light.
There are multiple different colors a fluorite can come as. The color is determined by impurities, exposure to radiation and the absence of voids of the color centers.
Opalized fluorite stone is a rock comprised largely of fluorite with minor amounts of opal, calcite, dolomite, quartz, chalcedony, bertrandite, and other minerals
