Lapis Lazuli is a deep-blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone.
The most important mineral component is lazurite, a blue feldspathoid silicate mineral.
Most lapis lazuli also contain calcite, sodalite, and pyrite, which are white, blue and metallic yellow, respectively.
