Spodumene is a pyroxene mineral consisting of lithium, aluminum and silicate. It occurs as big colorless to yellowish, purplish or lilac kunzite, yellowish-green or emerald-green hiddenite, prismatic crystals.
Kunzite is a purple-colored gemstone, a variety of Spodumene, with the color from minor to trace amounts of manganese.
NOTE: EXPOSURE TO SUNLIGHT CAN FADE ITS COLOR.
