Chalcedony is a cryptocrystalline form of silica, composed of very fine intergrowths of quartz and moganite, which are both silica minerals.
Chalcedony has many varieties, such as Agate, Carnelian, Chrysoprase, Fire Agate, Heliotrope, Moss Agate, Chrome Chalcedony, Onyx, Chalcedony Ice-blue.
